My Story

When I was about 5 years old, I learned to swim in the pool in front of my house, which was my first contact with physical activity.

Growing up, I was a slim boy because I used to do cicling and rolling while mi diet was adequate

In the following years, my health and fitness remained in optimal conditions as physical activity was part of my life until studies, first relationships and so on, led me to lose this wonderful habit...

Unhealthy eating and losing my exercise habits were gradually changing my body until I realised. I was 12 Kg overweight and felt a bit suffocated all the time.

Needed to lose weight

One day, I was sitting in my trousers on a stool in the kitchen, overeating and not in a healthy way. Suddenly my dear elder brother appeared in the kitchen and when he saw this delicious scene, he said to me:

You are getting fat, ain't it?

These words, could be hurtful to some people, but perfectly described what was going on in that kitchen. I looked down and my trousers were barely visible as my belly blocked the view. At that point, my head clicked and I linked all the accumulated changes from the previous year to the small suffocating sensation I was feeling.

Due to regaining my old habits, my body returned to that transformation, my diet also improved allowing me to reach my initial state and much more...

My curiosity to see how far I could go led me to keep trying new skills and increasing the difficulty. I discovered Calisthenics.

I no longer felt pressure in my chest!

I made new friends to share my passion for Calisthenics with, thanks to whom my motivation and development increased.

Conditions are not always the best, and sometimes we leave aside habits of vital importance, due to lack of time or other factors, and this can affect our physical and mental healt as happened to me in times of stress and lack of time during exams.

(It's a practice from university, I wasn't dying or otherwise).

A few months later everything was back under control, the main thing is not to lose sight of your goals, even if you stumble along the way or even if there are walls to go around, you can always find a way back to be the one you are aiming for. This ability to achieve what I was setting out to do filled me with confidence and pushed me to go on a long journey.

You may have to fight a battle...

...more than once to win it.
